As I was reading this, the film Melancholia came to mind. Then, I learned it was the inspiration for this book. I like that idea because I loved the film.
This book is about living in the moment, whether something is going to happen or not. I think it's also about not judging someone--you never know what might be going on in that person's life.
I was hoping the story would be a bit more apocalyptic, but I enjoyed it.
