Tender Is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica

5.0

I feel somewhat macabre giving this five stars but this book was everything I hoped it would be. Living through our own “virus” gave us a better understanding of how quickly a situation can deteriorate. Would we ever eat humans as commercial meat? I hope not… but this book speaks to how we dehumanize those different from us in any way that makes our own lives easier. And how easily we can be manipulated by propaganda intended to make us feel righteous.

Not for everyone but for me this was a powerful read.
