The Confessions of Saint Augustine: Books I-X by Saint Augustine, Frank Sheed

informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

5.0

This is a wonderful story of the journey of a man who experienced every walk of life. Starting with the Manichaeans, to the Platonists, and finally to the Church with much more going on along the way, St Augustine of Hippo lived an astonishingly exciting life. Not only does he describe his pathway to finding God, but he also shares many brilliant thoughts on philosophy, particularly the philosophy of language and mind.
