I hate giving this a bad rating but this book does not compare well to other nicholas sparks books. The love story of the protagonist was not believable/written well. I enjoyed the other story line better, but even that one there was something off that didn't quite draw me in like another similar story would have -- maybe it was just predictable? There are plenty of other nicholas sparks books that I would recommend over this one.
