The Escape
by Kathryn Lasky
I thought that this book started fairly slow, as many books do, but picked up quickly. It wasn't quite a page-turner, but it was very good. I loved the meaning behind becoming leader and it is something I would be proud to let any tween/teen read. It was very passionately written and had great sentence structure. Besides her usage of word, what kept me interested was my curiosity of how the "ghost" leader would play into the pack.
