I really enjoyed this book! I did theater all through high school and it was fun to read about thespians in their college careers. I loved the premise of Oliver telling Colborne the truth of what happened their 4th year at art school. Then trying to guess what happened and how it happened and how Oliver ended up in prison for 10 years. It was so interesting to see the dynamic of these 7 main characters and how they acted (lol) and interacted all from their different backgrounds. The ending was very emotional as the truth comes out. Then a little more comes out as well. The ending did drag on a bit and I felt like it didn’t really need the last 20ish pages. I didn’t really like the full scenes of them acting during their play performances but I know some of it was necessary and important to the story, and there was probably no easy way to write out the continuing plot without having to write them acting out a whole scene from a Shakespearean play. But I really liked this book and it definitely kept me on my toes. Perfect dark academia and mystery novel to read!!
