Wow this was fun!! I loved the footnotes and journalistic-style of the writing, and was absolutely obsessed with Emily and Wendell’s dynamic. I love a man who is so in love with a woman that he’s kinda pathetic about it. Emily not even realizing but slowly starting to love the townsfolk was so endearing, and I love how much she loved her work and how supportive Wendell was of her, even though they bantered. I liked the magic and lore of the fey in this too. Highly recommend!
