Taming Seraphine by Gigi Styx
3.0

can we all please ignore 99% of the sick and twisted books i read. Please and thankyou.

Is this book a literary masterpiece? No. Did i have a fun time reading it? Heck Yeah.

Séraphine has all the screws loose. The trauma this girl has gone through is probably beyond anything i've read. Being kept in her dad's basement for 5 years, being forced to be assaulted by men in order to get them in compromising positions to murder them is another level of messed up. But once she's free, she's out for sweet revenge. She's the epitome of female rage. I love how twisted her thinking is and her remorse is nowhere to be seen...Except when it comes to leroi

Leroi is the perfect man for her. Or she is the perfect woman for him. He sees himself as too dark, damaged and dangerous to be loved. She sees him as a hero and her saviour. This man will murder his own family for this girl. His morals dissipate for this murderous woman. Initially he tries to control her. But soon learns to love her fire. Talk about touch her and die. So many occasions these two had me laughing and giggling.

'I used to think seraphine was an avenging angel, but she's a beautiful little devil sent to tempt me into the depths of depravity. And i'll follow her into all seven circles of hell'
