This ended up being a really fun series. I liked the format of multiple narrators, but with a twist. This book has the trademark Kevin Hearne humor, but also includes great characters and world building. Considering the series is three very long books, the action moves quickly and the story is never boring.
It's hard to pick favorite characters because they are all special, but I enjoyed the addition of Penn
Yas Ben Min who is tasked with finding the location and Fanje a member of the resistance in enemy territory. I think my favorite parts of all the books is those blessed with the 6th Kenning.
A Curse of Krackens does a great job of wrapping up the plot. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys epic fantasy but sometimes need to take a break from the darkness of other series.
