I do agree that Layla and Colt's relationship was based on lust and being in this "forbidden" romance, rather than being in love. It was all kind of cliched and repetitive. Also, Colt's backstory kind of felt weird and forced. I didn't expect too much from this book, but it was a fun spicy read.
