Much better book in this series. The story and the characters are much more developed. Very similar to the Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt series. Moreover, some of the ideas are quite radical such as the launching of the bomb from the atmosphere and using the laundry to spread the virus. Hopefully the next series will be just as good. A good read.
