Overall - 2/5. okay so this book pulled me in because I LOVE dystopian novels. I was super intrigued by the plot summary and had heard pretty good things about it and decided to add it on for BOTM this month. I read it in two days flat - due to it really pulling me in. I feel like the beginning, middle and honestly most of the end were pretty solid. I HATE HATE HATE the way it ended - Although I’m trying to avoid spoiler warnings…

I always hate crapping on books, especially when they are the debut of the author, but I just don’t know if I would even recommend it. I feel like I wasted a lot of time to not really know what I read or really how I even feel about the conclusion. Overall, I hate rating it as low as I did, but I just hate the ending so much. I feel like it can’t get above what I’ve scored it due to the ending alone even though most of it was SO binge-able.
