Just RuNyx being RuNyx. Better than her more recent stuff but still bottom of the barrel reading. Fraught with grammatical errors, poor character development, repetitive sentence and writing structure, and 0 research into mafia families before writing. She forgot some of her own plot points while writing and the way some events unfolded were just silly, like clearly she did not remember the scene she had set up minutes before. Not looking forward to the other 5 novels but I'm too deep into the NyxVerse to abandon it now.
