The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee
5.0
I have not been able to read a full book in a good while.
But once I sat down and committed to reading this one, I fell in love with reading again.
I fell in love with Monty’s complexities and Percy’s sensibility and Felicity’s bravery.
Usually when a book has this many twists, I can’t get myself to enjoy it. But these twists excited me and made me nervous in the best way.
One of the quotes caught me. “There is life after survival.”
That is so important for these characters and for me in my life. Thank you, Mackenzi Lee for writing this book and reminding me that there is more to people than what they survive. There is more to me, and to Monty than what we’ve been put through.
Read this book, and remember that people grow and people live.
