The Lake of Souls
by Darren Shan
The Lake of Souls takes place right after Killers of the Dawn. Darren cannot cry. He feels numb, but with the help of the bearded Lady, Truska, he eventually does so. Because of Mr Crepsley's death this book was also a recovery just not for Darren but for me as well.
But some people would expect this book to be a bit boring, well at the beginning it was kind of slow but definitely caught up by the middle with such an interesting plot with Harkat.
I did enjoy it thoroughly and I would recommend it to anyone who has read this series, because if you haven't read it this book in particular would give away a lot of spoilers.
