WWI vet, Will Darling, has inherited his uncle's bookshop. He has a shady character demand information from him, then the War Office tries to strong arm him for the same information. Then a likable fellow offers to help him search the bookshop for it. Betrayed by Kim, Will also has no one else to turn to...

Too graphic for my taste, but I enjoyed the mystery and how Will is able to come out on top.
