Sam Hall is an incredible author, and this is the first book of hers that I straight up did not like. I know Conor was the rich guy but I honestly can’t tell you anything about the other ones. I need the FMC to get therapy.  And the MMCs need therapy but I can’t see them getting it since life seems to just continually work out for them no matter what they do. Are the dudes rich or not? First they were nice house and yard in the insane Australian housing market, owners of a successful ass business and shopping spree of all the fancy kitchen stuff (you like that? Let’s buy three of that expensive thing!) rich but then they are actually hugely in debt and therefore not shopping spree of all the fancy kitchen stuff (let’s buy three of that expensive thing) rich…I get RomComs aren’t supposed to be realistic, but like, none of this storyline was plausible or made sense. FMC won’t cook at all because one opportunity was dashed?

Please give other Sam Hall books a read, because they are fantastic. This book just wasn’t representational of the talent of this author, imho.
