This book was not what I expected, but I think it's all the better for it.  Based on the blurb and review comments I was thinking it would be more "laugh out loud funny", but in reality this was at times a genuinely moving story of Paulie, and the cast mates of the reality TV show they are taking part in.

Really a book about what makes a family, what it means to love someone, and what it takes for us to realise what we have and what we might be missing.  At times quite thought-provoking
