I went into the foxhole court excited for the romance I had heard so much about. While the romance did not come much into play in the first installment, the character development and complexities of the foxes has me hooked.
That being said, there were a few things I had issues with. For one, slurs are used repeatedly for no reason, which makes reading this feel uncomfortable. Additionally,Nicky’s assault on Neil was just brushed over?? And the plot ebbs and flows, with some parts being a bit confusing.
