All to Pieces by Susan Henshaw

I received an arc from the author via Booked with the Emilys. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Blue Bishop is at the top of his game— star quarterback for the University of Knoxville and likely to be drafted in the first round of the NFL draft after this year. But Blue made the biggest mistake of his life four years ago— leaving Seddledowne, and Anna. Blue has regretted it ever since.

Anna Dupree was absolutely shattered when Blue left four years ago. The distance was too much. Anna has tried to move on since, but she can’t. When her current boyfriend insists she needs to lay eyes on Blue and figure this out, she goes to Blue’s game. She had no plans of actually talking to him, but unfortunately her famous singer uncle had other plans. Anna is forced onto the field to sing and comes face to face with the only man she’s ever loved.

I loved seeing these two reconnect after years apart and all the hurt they caused each other. This book is raw and real— showing the realities of long distance dating and two competing careers. What do you do when the only person that feels right for you is constantly being pulled away? Do you give up your dream career or your dream man?

I love you, all to pieces. <3
