Colliding With Fate
by A.E. Valdez
I enjoyed this book BUT I felt frustrated by the end. I wish they had shown more of Quinn’s therapy journey as well as Kyrell’s, especially when his father passed. Overall, I thought the story was really really beautiful and I really felt for Ky. He went through SO MUCH. And I almost wish he had been in therapy for a while so that he would have the capacity to handle everything. It seemed like Quinn was good for him but his reasons for wanting to be by himself to process everything was fully understandable. I also thought she was being so…unnecessarily unfair to him when she refused to talk to him after their argument about the pregnancy. And for her not to apologize didn’t make sense to me because she could not know what it meant for him to finally have a father & then lose him suddenly. How heartbreaking that was. And to not have any compassion for that?? Make it make sense. I did like the story but I just thought there were some narratives I would’ve left out or replaced.
