How to Break an Undead Heart by Hailey Edwards
4.0
Ahhh. I already knew what was going to happen. The title, the ominous foreboding, the spoilers in the comments.
I already knew what was going to happen. Really did, play by play.
And it still tore out my heart and nailed me in the gonads

This book reminds me why I like reading romance so much. You get sucked in to each character's problems and start rooting for everything to work out happily. You spend late nights debating with your friends on who the best suitor would be.

And then it's the little things that they do for each other, the little things that mean a million things that warm your cold dead heart at night. Then you spend the last 15% of the book crying your heart out, even though you knew what was going to happen, because you empathize with the character so much their heartbreak becomes your heartbreak.

I don't like love triangles, I usually hate them because the person I root for never gets chosen and I'd prefer just an all out orgy over heartbreak. But in this case it was well played. Sometimes love is just like two blindfolded elephants passing each-other in a room. Whether it's because of missed opportunities, bad choices, betrayal, or just chance, sometimes you just miss each other.

Rooting for you Boy 3.

Grier didn't deserve to be betrayed like that by both of her childhood friends. I hope she realizes that there's another person in her life whose been waiting just as long to be loved.Rooting for you Boy 3.
