R. Moody brought the HEAT in her new debut romantasy novel, Null and Void!!!
Right at the start, we are introduced to Sunyanile (world) and a unique magic system that I have never come across before, and it was so refreshing!
We love fem rage and our fmc Mika is a little firecat that is retired but.. "once an assassin, always an assassin."
The cast is large in book one of Patron of the Divine series, and I love that each and every character had flare, personality, and individuality!
I loved getting to know more of these characters as we go along, and I'm not going to lie, some of the characters really pulled on my heartstrings and I woupd happily die on a hill for them! The found family in this book is chefs kiss and really drives the book alongside the storyline.
The plot is like a beautiful spiders web, it builds with tension, thickens with rage and entwines together the further we go along and the plot twist at the end I DID NOT see coming, and now anxiously awaiting to see what's next.
