I had trouble getting through the first half, until I realized I simply couldn't stand the voice that narrated Margot's chapters. I ended up switching to the Dutch version and then finished it within 2 days.
The story itself is beautiful. The ending is obviously sad, but it made sense within the story and any other ending would have ruined the point of the book. Both of the main characters are so lovely, and so are many of the side characters. This book is not a page turner, but it was definitely worth my time.
