Butterflies: the many lives of Lucia Porter by Phill Featherstone

challenging dark mysterious sad medium-paced

4.0

This was a read which took me about 100 pages to get into and then once I got passed that point I speed through it and could not put it down. The setting of this book was multi-setting and being between them allowed you to feel how the characters felt about the situation including their emotions. The characters are well rounded and have their flaws which means that they are realistic going through emotions that real people go through. This story dealt with a toxic relationship and also the loss of a child which would stretch anyone's mental health to the point that you will look anywhere to get help. I can not wait to see what the author writes next.
