Suicide Squad, Volume 3: Death Is for Suckers by Adam Glass

4.0

I keep forgetting i have to review these stuff .

So ... Good stuff , the story arc was covered in 3 intervals , the first one got mingled with the New 52 Batman issues depicting the return of Joker, this led to Joker and Harley's relationship finally turning sour. The issue also explained the presence of multitude of Harley before the present member of Suicide squad explaining the various difference in style of both Harley's behaviour to her previous incarnations and also the differing manner by which joker has treated harley in past and this harley .

The second part of the story involved the
Spoiler return of Deadshot
which we already predicted will happen , but how it happened remained a mystery .

The third and final part involved a action packed mission involving rescuing a certain someone with a very handy power and apparently with a deep backstory involving one of the key member of the squad .

Overall the issue still didn't lightened the imaginations and much of the stuff shown in the issue is what readers have read before , that said there was a plethora of funnier moments and banters and the action scenes were played out . Ofcourse the whole Joker - Harley thing really added to the charm of the story and made the book appear more top notch stuff than it really is . That said i was not necessarily very happy with the Joker arc , coz despite the fact that Joker has always been a abusive jerk to Harley since her inception the fact remains that in a odd twisted way he did love her and so did Harley and she accepted the abuse associated with it , not saying the abuse acceptance is a welcome fact but in my opinion the whole break up could have been done more smoothly than it happened, the way it did happen led it to appear very off character to what Harley's and joker's character have always been
