I have no idea what to rate this. On the one hand, it made a lot of literary reference to classics that I found boring (especially in the beginning of the book) but on the other hand the writing was gorgeous and it was also pretty unhinged at times. There was far more humour from our unnamed omniscient narrator than I ever would have expected as well.
