This was definitely not my favorite Ruth Ware book. I will admit I kept reading it, but mostly because it was like watching a train wreck and I couldn't look away.
I didn't care for the characters. They were almost all spoiled brats with no depth. The chef at the chalet was a hidden gem with potential, but you don't realize that until far later in the book than you should, and by then the book is pretty much over.
This is a locked room mystery without much mystery. I suggest taking a pass -- unless you are stranded in a ski chalet and want to create a few nightmares for entertainment.
