The story of hockey team owner Harper and hockey star Remy. This was an ok read. I had a few issues with it. I didn’t quite believe in Harper. She just felt a bit weak to run a team. She talked the talk in her head but then she was always almost having panic attacks, unable to speak or about to cry.

Remy was a laid back, Cajan charmer who cooked amazing food. He also came out with some French sayings. Not sure they were quite believable. I often have a problem with implied foreigness. Like a Scottish guy must say ‘aye’. An English guy must call people ‘love’. It’s hard to pull off right. He was ok.

It was quite a hot read but the last hot scene was totally ruined by them having a normal type conversation whilst having sex. Way to kill the magic guys.

So yeah, ok but not memorable.
