Sarah Morgan is such a go-to comfort read for me, even as she has transitioned from Romance to "women's fiction." And as often happens with her books, the setting is as much a character as the people. I want to go spend a summer at this resort town at the center of this book.
The book starts with Milly picking up her childhood/lifelong friend Nicole at the trainstation in the middle of the night, even though they'd been estranged since Milly's unexpected divorce. As the story unfolds, we learn about their friendship, their relationships, famiy and more. No one's totally a saint nor totally a sinner. Lots of personal growth, laughs, and some romance. Just what I needed.
