I’ve read one other book by Lucinda Berry. I’m glad because if this was the first book I had picked up, I would have not given her another chance. Terrible convoluted plot. Characters that made so many stupid choices. Unlikable characters! I hated them all including the protagonist. None of her choices made sense even with the cards she was dealt. Don’t even get me started on David.
