pollypocket615 's review for:
Forever Burn
by Trinity Lemm
First of all thank you to the author herself who provided a free copy in exchange for an truthful review. At first it took me a few chapters to get into the story itself, which is not unusual since that is how I am when starting a new book. When I originally started the story I figured it would be a typical Wattpad-y type of love story, not that there is anything wrong with that they are my guilty pleasures. But the author surprised me none-the-less, for this to be the author's first book I really did enjoy it. The author was not afraid to cover and face issues that many today face, I loved how the attention was not solely on the main character, Tate, but also covered the issues of her friends relationships. That it was not only her who had internal struggles, and how Axe too was having his own battles as well. The author did a great job of covering an abusive and toxic relationship, for it is not just physical abuse but a lot of mental as well. She did a great job conveying the difference of what is considered a healthy relationship and what is a toxic relationship. Trinity Lemm did a great job explaining what mental abuse could do to a person and how hard it is to break away from that relationship. I am looking forward to seeing the author continue to write and grow in the writing industry.
