Before picking up Tin Queen, I wondered how Devney would bring Emmett and Nova together. As always, she wove an intricate web, tugged two rivals together and had them fall in love.
Nova and Emmett have the final book in the series for a reason. Their story is layered and intense and the answer to every unanswered question throughout the series. They’re both strong and proud, but also the key to the fixing the past. I loved Nova’s boldness and Emmett’s ability to be tender. I love how they fought the inevitable and came out stronger together. And I loved how, in the end, their union brought peace after so many years.
A wonderful and perfect conclusion to the series!
