I read this for a school book club!
Good things:
Good things:
- Setting. I loved the lake, the cottage, and the vibes therein. I'm a sucker for a good vivid setting.
Stuff I thought was not awesome:
- Major plot beats. This just does not seem plausible!
- The voice. Percy talks like a 19 year old even though she's 30. Please let her talk like a 30 year old.
- The main conflict. I hated it and it was stupid.
- Very descriptive sex scenes. What can I say, they made me cringe.
I liked the setting so much. I did not like anything else.
