Make Me Beg by Rebecca Brooks

This was an enjoyable story. That drew me in from the very start and kept me entertained throughout.
As for the main characters Mack and Connor. They were both likable and certainly had fiery personalities. Which made for lots of sparks in the bedroom and lots of clashes outside of it. Although it's fair to say the majority of their encounters happen outside of the bedroom and were all hot and varied. I also thought Mack and Connor worked well as a couple, but did feel it took them a little too long to work things out towards the end of the book.
Overall though I did think this was a good, engaging story and having not read the first book in the Men of Gold Mountain Series. I never once felt like I was missing out. And I would certainly go back and read it now. I would also happily recommend this story to others. Especially if your looking for a story with minimal angst and a guaranteed hea.
