The Keepsake by Tess Gerritsen

3.0

This one kept me reading until the wee hours of the morning, even though I had to wake up early!

I liked this one better than the last one in the series, but to be honest, I kept thinking of Lily in the last one and not Medea or Josephine, because both of the characters kept looking over their shoulders, had lived with for so long, and also were constantly on the run.

The twist at the end, I figured it out. I mean it was still a good whodunit kind of book and I will continue to read the rest in the series. But there was no character development in this one.

I felt pretty disappointed by that.

And what the heck did the butterflies on the front cover have to do with anything in the book?

It was about archaeology, not insects. It was about a mummy and petrifying corpses. Not about bugs. Sheesh.
