Angakok by David Alan Morrison was a first read by this author for me. This book is not in my normal genres of reads but it was still interesting. This book deals with LGBT and also in the paranormal as well.
I will preface by saying I was very lost for some time as so much was happening between flashbacks, many extra characters and just all around balance of what was happening. It did pick up some the more you got into the story.
Dane and Victoria are involved in a car accident and both die. Dane is only dead for moments but is plagued by dreams of being in someone else's body killing random people. When a mystic finds the reasoning behind what is going on and the connection between Dane and Victoria, the must make a plan of how to stop her as Danes partner is next on her list.
I just felt I didn't connect well to the story but it was well written, an interesting storyline and just all around a good read if you're a paranormal fan.
