Loved Miles and Daphne! They felt so real and had such vulnerable moments that it’s hard not to fall in love with them.
I loved the flip of the two who were left by who they thought was the one getting together—Emily loves taking a tried and true theme and turning it on its head.
I enjoyed Daphne and felt her character was a love letter to literature. I loved Miles and his steadfastness, even when he was unsure.
Everything with Daphne’s dad was done well (shoutout, daddy issues)!!! I loved Julia and Ashley: top-tier side characters. I liked everything about Miles' family and his relationship with Julia.
There were one too many mentions of weed, after a while, I wanted to yell WE GET IT.
But this was a great story and I thought Julia Whelan did a phenomenal job at telling it.
