O Reino do Dragão de Ouro by Isabel Allende
5.0
isabel allende can have my soul, since she already writes my entire personality in the first few pages of this book
this was a brilliant follow-up to the first of the series, and one i am very happy to continue! the twist in this one was less of a surprise, because of course you're not suspicious of the characters you already know. but the aspect i love the most in these novels is how allende so subtly places her magical realism and how she plays with it, making it feel so naturally interwoven in the fabric of not only the book's reality but my reality as well. also she's Hilarious!
