Okay so I'm giving it 3.5 stars because it had me till the 67% but what happened after ruined everything for me…the premise was very good, the fantasy elements very original but the romance was developed poorly, you can't define a romance a slow born when they had little to none interaction between 4 people past and present POVS, I had a tiny bit of affection for Lustina and the baron (they were cute) but Farryn and Jericho? They gave me something at the start and then they proceeded to give me a rash
