I am actually crying right now. This is the 4th book to have ever done that to me. I never cry while reading. Oh my god, it touches on so many things that I am not familiar with being a pretty well off American teen. Child homelessness is such an issue, and people like to ignore it because of how sad it is, and certain parts of the world are worse than others. This depicted what it was to be a kid in that situation that still found hope and made the best of where they were. It’s so beautiful. I’m so glad I picked this up. I’m gonna need some recovery time for this though.
