An important lesson in why if you're going to kill someone, you should do it properly first time. Otherwise you just have to do it later when they try to kill your girlfriend and that's just a drag for everyone involved.

While I think some of the praise on the front is a wee bit over-blown, it's a good book about the inevitability of fate disguised as a thriller.
