Woowwww!
This book is amazing on all fronts.

The narrative is unique because of the strong as well as witty narrator (Hoid) and the easter-eggs concerning Sanderson's work. This makes the book a special delight for people who have read some of his other pieces.

The storyline is well-developed, first concentrating on rather mundane stuff like the character's rather unusual jobs, the cultural, perceptive and moral differences between the characters and later on has a very enjoyable plot-twist in store.

The emotional depth of the character's struggles, feelings and faults is very well developed and makes one reflect on deep stuff.

There is some societal critic - or rather: some reflection-worthy points regarding our society and the defenition of progress - to be found in this book that invite further reflection.

There are so many layers to this book that make a finite review impossible. However, I do want to utter a huge recommendation for anyone. Please, for your own literacy-health, read this book.
