This wasn't quite as good as Butcher & Blackbird, but it might be unfair of me to compare, even if I'm doing so unintentionally. Still, "not quite as good" is still pretty fecking good.
I love enemies-to-lovers, and this one was done do well. Also, who doesn't love a killer who blushes at the drop of a hat (him, not her lol).
The witty banter, murder, sex, and the love between friends and family were all still there. And I absolutely adored Aunt Ethel. She reminded me of some of my favorite hospice patients, that I would just sit in their rooms and chat with them. She was a real one.
The audio was so good. I'm a big fan of Eric Nolan's, and Samantha Brentmoor was new to me but I loved her. Her singing was so pretty too. Highly recommend this audio.
