i fear i did not fully get this one. i liked the characters fine but also don't feel like i got to know them as deeply as i'd have liked. it also didn't go there enough to give me a true horror experience. instead it was just kind of strange and at times confusing. i wanted more plant stuff (maybe i wanted it to lean more sci-fi?), less relationship drama. it was well written, i wouldn't swear off the writer or anything, but it didn't really hit for me.
