If this wasn't a buddy read I would have DNFd. Turner is the WORST. Just a complete tool. He blames his first wife for his many issues, essentially stalks Miranda until she agrees to marry him. Then there's the surprise pregnancy, then a later full term pregnancy complete with childbirth and he only realizes he loves her after she almost died. Then he does his whole declaration of love while she is passed out. 
The number of times he did a variation on "watch what you say to me wife" was deeply disturbing.
