Paris for One and Other Stories by Jojo Moyes
4.0
A quick read even though I took ages to read it! I liked how light and fun it was.
Paris for One was a cute, quirky and a bit predictable read. Nell's evolution from a person who was afraid of taking adventures to a person who liked to take risks was interesting. It reminded me of the Sisterhood of traveling pants when Nell met a french guy. But overall, I enjoyed the story.
This book included 8 other short stories; each story had some kind of a moral to them which was an interesting take. Amongst the 8 stories, my favorite story was Hold Up. There were some stories which reminded me of other novels, for instance, A Bird in the Hand had a One Day (by David Nichols) feel to it.
A quick, simple read which can teach you something towards the end.
