The Brightness Between Us by Eliot Schrefer
4.75
adventurous dark emotional hopeful mysterious tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

The plot thickens! I was drawn in by the new characters and also getting to know more of what happened before the first book, even though the vibes were a bit different. Some parts felt a bit too ridiculous or unnecessary, and I found myself tuning out at parts.
It’s funny that they said the title of the book twice in two different contexts, mirroring the cover art.
