The Bastard and the Heir by Saxon James, Eden Finley
5.0

Whaaaaaaoooo that was really emotional, stressful and intense. I loved that book, I was really curious to see how it would go as it is a kind of “stepbrother” romance but much more complicated.
There is the heir and the bastard, which one is which ?

Wren learned about his father after his college graduation and that revelation did not go well for him, he hates him and doesn’t want to have anything to do with him, his company and his family. But destiny had other plans for him, the death of his father and the will that goes with it make him a millionaire and part of a company he didn’t want. Wren was ready to refuse everything and put all of that behind him but it was without counting on Darcy who wants him to be part of all of it, the family, the company. And as time goes Wren realises that his feelings for his brother are more than he could have ever thought.
Darcy’s family has many secrets, after his father’s death, Darcy is now the CEO of the company and has to deal with all of his brothers. He is adamant to make Wren part of the family and to teach him the ropes of the company. Darcy is married to his work but his thoughts always are directed toward Wren, he cannot stop thinking about him, wanting him, but he knows that it will never be possible.

I was really excited about this book, I love the fact that Eden Finley and Saxon James write something different just like Up In Flames, it gives another depth to their universe and it’s just amazing.
I hope there will be more and I recommend it !! Totally
