I have a physical copy of this book that I attempted to read, but it was very slow despite having short chapters. Short chapters are meant to move the story along, but that didn’t happen in this book. I guess you would say this book is more character driven. Some of the issues brought up in this book is very valid, but for me it fell flat in the execution. I tried to say that maybe it was because I’m Black and not brown, but that’s not it since we face the same problems. Also, I hated the ending.
